Today we wanted to give a brief mention to mental health. It is an issue that affects so many of us, especially having been through a variety of lockdowns and restrictions this year. For anyone struggling, it is well documented that even a small amount of exercise helps with a whole host of mental health related issues.
Getting started can seem daunting, but it doesn’t have to be! So we have listed a few simple suggestions below!
- You could go for a 10 minute walk once a day, a change of scenery and a breath of fresh air always help!
- You could try doing 10 push-ups or sit-up over the course of a day.
- Just doing some jumping jacks for a few minutes can get the heart racing.
